Gaia Therapy Project provides voluntary placements to qualified or trainee psychotherapists and counsellors who would like to be part of a community-based therapeutic project. We welcome applications from individuals whose therapeutic practice and interest is oriented within psychosocial understandings of human experience and critical socio-political perspectives.
We appreciate your time and commitment to the project and you will be provided with attentive support and care that includes regular supervision, training opportunities – particularly in the field of eco-therapy - and interest and investment in your development as an independent therapeutic practitioner.
It is expected that you are able to commit to seeing at least three clients per week and can attend fortnightly group supervision.
Gaia Therapy Project needs to fundraise to secure the continuation and development of the therapeutic support and services we are able to offer. If you have experience and expertise and would like to be involved, please get in touch.
